In 2013, The Little Flock Foundation launched the Brighter Future program to provide youth with opportunities for technical education and vocational training. The program targets youth who have completed preparatory school (ages 15-16) from economically-challenged families, primarily from Upper Egypt. It offers them the chance to continue their education at the Salesian Technical Institute “Don Bosco” in Cairo, as well as at the Ghabbour Applied Technology School, established in 2021. Additionally, the program collaborates with EVA School and the Onsi Sawiris Applied Technology & Construction School (OSATCS).
Beyond covering educational expenses, Brighter Future provides students with capacity-building, social activities, and health services. For youth aged 18 to 45, the program offers vocational training, equipping them with technical and interpersonal skills to compete in the labor market. Graduates are encouraged to actively contribute to their local communities and support their families, helping to raise their standard of living.
To provide underprivileged youth the skills needed to become financially independent and support their families.
To improve the lives of youth, coming from economically challenged households, through vocational education that enhances their employability chances.
