Empowering youth from underprivileged areas in Egypt, helping them get quality education.
In 2013, The Little Flock launched “Brighter Future” program offering youth who completed preparatory school (ages 15-16) and coming from economically-challenged families, mostly from Upper Egypt, the opportunity to continue their education at the Salesian Technical Institute “Don Bosco”, in Cairo. Besides covering the educational expenses of the Institute, the program provides its students with capacity building, social activities and health services.
In 2021, the Little Flock started a new cooperation with “Ghabbour Foundation for Development”, for the youth to join their newly established school “Ghabbour applied technology school” at Cairo and Giza.
The program offers vocational training for youth from the age of 18 until 35 the opportunity to learn a new profession. The program develops the technical and interpersonal skills of youth so they can compete in the labor market.
Brighter Future graduates are encouraged to be actively involved in their local communities and support their families to raise their standard of living.
To provide underprivileged youth the skills needed to become financially independent and support their families.
To improve the lives of youth, coming from economically challenged households, through vocational education that enhances their employability chances.
